Lazy Susans

My 12" and 15" metal lazy susans are truly unique. Interior designers say that they add "texture and dimension" to kitchen islands and dining tables. The smaller size is a perfect countertop companion alongside your stove to keep cooking essentials handy.
Care instructions: Simply wipe with a damp cloth. Patinated Steel only: Avoid prolonged exposure to acetic agents like vinegar, red wine and salt.

Patinated Steel Lazy Susans

Discover the artistry behind my unique pieces, crafted through the intricate process of chemical etching. With copper sulfate as the primary agent, I provoke reactions with the base steel, resulting in stunning patterns that are truly one-of-a-kind. By experimenting with various chemicals, application techniques, and environmental factors, I can create a diverse array of designs. While some can be reminiscent of one another, each piece stands as a distinct artistic statement. These lazy susans have a matte finish.

Pigmented Resin (Epoxy) Lazy Susans

For these items, I use colored epoxies to create the unique patterns. The technique is similar to the one I use to patinate the steel: apply the agent (in this case, epoxy instead of a chemical solution) and use vairous methods to create the patterns. These lazy susans have a glossy finish. They are denoted with "-E" next to the number.
NOTES:
-
Due to how resin cures and adheres to steel, some small, often hared-to-see surface variations may be found in the epoxy products. Epoxy has a mind of its own. If the imperfections are really bad, I discard the piece. Most customers comment that these imperfections add to the "art" and are to be expected in an organic design.
-
Some pieces (designated with "-EB") may have small build-ups (or "bumps") of epoxy on the edges.
-
Due to differences in monitors and photographic conditions, the colors may vary slightly from what you see here.
