Artist Statement

Welcome to my art collection, where engineering meets artistry! My work is a playful exploration of "fun with chemicals and tools," starting with large sheets of metal that are laser cut into different shapes. Through countless hours of experimentation, I have harnessed the etching characteristics of steel and various chemicals to create captivating abstract forms. While I maintain some control over the process, the nature of art adds an exciting element to each piece.

Art is a reflection of the artist's emotional journey, and my pieces embody this deeply. Each layer reveals the complexity of my feelings at that moment. I use various tools, like an angle grinder, to add even more depth and texture to the etchings, and I layer pigmented epoxies and use a hair dryer, or droppers or mechanical manipulation of a piece to create unpredictable and unique patterns on my functional art pieces. The enhancements add depth and texture, inviting the eye to explore the intricate relationship between emotion and creation. Experience the layers of my art, where every action tells a story.​
